Informationssicherheitsbeauftragte/r (ISB) für Kreditinstitute
Secure and efficient IT is essential for the economic success of a credit institution. In accordance with the German Banking Act and MaRisk, banks must ensure that their IT systems and processes guarantee the integrity, availability, authenticity and confidentiality of data.
With the "Banking Supervisory Requirements for IT", which were amended on 16 August 2021, BaFin has specified its requirements for the function of the information security officer: These officers manage the information security process, support the management in defining the information security guideline and draw up information security guidelines. In addition, they are the point of contact for all information security issues - both internally and for third parties.
