Zahlungsverkehr in der Bankpraxis

The practice-oriented workshop is dedicated to the current and upcoming issues of payment traffic in banking practice.

The big bang of the TARGET2/T2S consolidation originally planned for November 2022 as well as the start of the SWIFT ISO 20022 Migration have currently been postponed to March 2023

This means that payment traffic continues to be a major construction site. The renewed postponements prove the complexity of the planned changes in European and global payment traffic, which should not be underestimated.

The following questions are the focus of the workshop:

  • Is the community better prepared for the TARGET2 'big bang' and SWIFT migration?
  • Is SWIFT's Transaction Manager ready for use?
    - Rich Data or just 'like for like'?
  • What still needs to be implemented in payments by November 2023?
  • What impact will the EU Commission's initiative for the mandatory introduction of instant payments have?
  • When will payments become 'really digital'?
    - on the future of the digital euro and a network for digital central bank money

Mr. Gerd Pöhl, GWPÖHL SEMINARE, will be your speaker.
