Sustainable Finance Booster 2024
"Nothing is as constant as change." This line is a good way to describe the regulation and discussion surrounding sustainable finance. Much has been set in motion, some initiated and others postponed. Our one-day exchange of experiences will not only bring you up to date, but also show you how to tackle these issues in practice.
The Deutsche Bundesbank, experts from private banks and the Sustainable Finance Team of the German Bankers Association will present the currently important topics in the areas of ESG risks, ESG reporting, EU taxonomy and SFDR and explain their implementation experiences.
Speakers will cover the following topics, among others:
- The role of banks in ESG // Torsten Jäger, Bundesverband deutscher Banken e. V.
- EU taxonomy and its significance for bank management // Adrian Schwantes, Bundesverband deutscher Banken e. V.
- Operationalisation of the ESG strategy in banks // Alexandra Themistocli, SEB AB
- ESG reporting: regulatory requirements and implementation experience
- ESG risks: Requirements and experiences from regulatory audit practice // Stefanie Dannemann, Deutsche Bundesbank
- Implementation of ESG in the lending business // Thomas Maeder, Oldenburgische Landesbank AG
