The online conference, organised in cooperation with the Employers' Association of the Private Banking Industry (AGV Banken), provides a compact overview of current developments in labour and social law. Important rulings for corporate labour law practice are presented in detail and discussed with sufficient time for questions and problems from participants.

A particular focus will be on the EU Pay Transparency Directive, which must be transposed into national law by June 7, 2026. In order to provide you with a well-founded and practical assessment of the final legal regulations, the date has been postponed to April 28. Further content is currently being planned and will be available approximately four weeks before the event begins.

The speakers will be Dr Jens Thau, Deputy Managing Director and Ulf Grimmke, Managing Director of the Arbeitgeberverband des privaten Bankgewerbes e.V., Berlin.

The symposium is aimed at all those responsible for human resources and labour law.

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Dr. Jens T. Thau
Lawyer, specialist in labor law, licensed in Germany and New York.
Deputy Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer of the Employers' Association of the Private Banking Industry (AGV Banken). Since 1994, his practice has focused on collective labor law (collective bargaining and works constitution law, collective bargaining, conciliation committees) as well as employment and liability law for management boards and supervisory boards.

Ulf Grimmke
Attorney at law and, since July 2022, managing director of the Employers' Association of the Private Banking Industry (AGV Banken). He is a deputy member of the Executive Board of the German Federal Pension Insurance Fund (DRV Bund) and the Federal Assembly of German Pension Insurance. At DRV Bund, he is a full member of the Executive Board's Personnel Committee and represents DRV Bund at the shareholders' meeting of BfW Halle gGmbH.
