Aktuelle Entwicklungen im Bankrecht
This year, the Bankenakademie is organizing a symposium in Berlin as well as online via MS Teams to discuss current banking law rulings and report on new developments in banking law and practice as well as national and European legislation. The aim of the event is to provide participants with a summary overview of developments in banking law in 2024 and of the work of the bodies of the Banking Association dealing with legal issues.
The event will cover the following topics, among others:
- General terms and conditions, consumer protection, general civil and civil procedural law
- Account management
- credit law
- Loan collateral/insolvency law
- Sustainable finance
- Restructuring and resolution as well as individual aspects of banking supervisory law
- Prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing and other
- compliance issues
- Legal issues relating to payment transactions
- Data protection law
- Capital market law
- Legal issues relating to digitalisation
Speakers are Lucas-Michael Beck, Jörg Buschan, Wulf Hartmann, Dr. Stefanie Heun, Dr. Lambert Köhling, Jan-Teja Kraft, Thomas Lorenz, Dr. Andreas von Oppen, Adrian Schwantes and Lothar Wand (all from Bundesverband deutscher Banken e. V., Berlin)
The event will be chaired by Thorsten Höche, Chief Legal Counsel and Managing Director, BdB.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance as proof of their training.
