EdB-Beitragserhebung 2025
On 1 November 2024, amendments to the Ordinance on the Financing of the Compensation Scheme of German Banks (EdB), EntschFinV for short, came into force.
Changes to the EntschFinV concern, among other things
- the individual aggregated risk weightings assigned to the credit ratings
- the weighting of risk categories and risk indicators,
- the calculation of the correction factor.
The changes have resulted in far-reaching adjustments to the credit rating function.
The revised EntschFinV continues to permit the granting of irrevocable payment obligations. Institutions regularly submit queries to the EdB regarding their application.
The webinar provides
- an overview of the amended provisions of the EntschFinV and
- the resulting adjustments for the institutions and
- provides clarity on questions regarding the utilisation of payment obligations.
Jörg Ortgies, the responsible managing director of the EdB, and employees of GBB-Rating and the Auditing Association of German Banks will speak.
