The webinar provides you with the current requirements for identification and authentication in the area of KYC and payment transactions.

The focus is on the extended requirements of the amended eIDAS Regulation in order to create a future-proof and interoperable European digital identity. The aim of eIDAS 2.0 is to introduce an EUDI wallet for natural and legal persons that can be used in many digital processes both in the administration and in the private sector context.

The challenges of other digital identification procedures such as video and ID card identification in the context of AMLA-compliant customer onboarding will also be discussed.

Another focus will be on the innovations resulting from the revision of the Payment Services Directive (in future the Payment Services Regulation) and its practical impact on authentication procedures.

Speakers include Diana Campar, Banking Technology and Security at the Association of German Banks (Bundesverband deutscher Banken e.V.).
