Dr Teo Geldner

Dr Teo Geldner: Dr Teo Geldner works at the Association of German Banks in the Banking Supervision and Accounting Working Group. There, he deals with issues relating to liquidity requirements for banks, third-party risk management and BCBS 239. He previously worked in research and consulting and holds a doctorate in macroeconomics and is a trained banker.

Ramona Häge

Ramona Häge is a senior manager with over 20 years of experience in IT auditing and consulting for banks and financial service providers. She is responsible for IT internal auditing and supports our internal audit clients with complex IT projects, systems and digital business processes. Her focus is on digitalisation and the use of AI in internal auditing.

Amin Harig

Amin Harig is an associate in IT auditing and consulting for financial institutions and has extensive experience in research on artificial intelligence in the service sector. His focus is on consulting on the use of new technologies in the financial sector. With his expertise, he supports companies in the successful implementation of digital innovations.

Torsten Jäger

Torsten Jäger heads the Sustainable Finance team at the German Banking Association. In this role, he supports various international, European and national sustainable finance initiatives and is in regular contact with the relevant EU institutions and supervisory authorities (EBA, ECB, BaFin and Bundesbank). He has more than 19 years of experience in banking supervisory law and previously worked for the management consultancy zeb/, DZ Bank in London and Berliner Volksbank.

Arne Klusmann

Arne Klusmann is a lawyer and specialist in tax law. He advised medium-sized clients on tax law for over twenty years before joining the FDP parliamentary group in the Bundestag. Since May 2025, Arne Klusmann has represented the tax policy interests of the Banking Association in Berlin.

Oliver Scholz

As project manager, Oliver Scholz has been instrumental in driving forward the development of strategic sustainability initiatives at Hamburg Commercial Bank AG (HCOB) since 2019 and has established corresponding ESG standards at the bank. With over 20 years of international experience in the financial industry, the business administration graduate and trained industrial clerk can draw on a wealth of experience, particularly in solving complex strategic issues, operational project management and process control.

Silvia Schütte

Silvia Schütte began her professional career at Sparkassenfinanzgruppe with an apprenticeship as an association auditor and then worked in financial communications at a major bank. She has now been working at the banking association for many years and deals with a wide range of supervisory and accounting issues.

Sabine Weber

Sabine Weber is Director of the Tax and Investments Working Group at the Association of German Banks in Berlin. She is responsible for all VAT issues in the banking and finance sector at national, European and international level.
