The speakers are Dr. Ingo Beyritz, Director, Head of Payment Transactions; Wulf Hartmann, Director; Albrecht Wallraf, Associate Director; and Louis Miebs, Associate—all from the Federal Association of German Banks (Bundesverband deutscher Banken e. V.), Berlin.

Speakers:
Dr. Ingo Beyritz
Dr. Ingo Beyritz has been with the Federal Association of German Banks since 1998 and currently serves as head of payment transactions.
Wulf Hartmann
Wulf Hartmann is a lawyer and has been with the Federal Association of German Banks for over two decades. There, his responsibilities include payment law, data protection law, issues related to general terms and conditions, and legal disputes. He is a member of the working group that addresses legal issues related to the BFSG.
Louis Miebs
Louis Miebs has been working as an associate in the “Payment Transactions” task force at the Federal Association of German Banks (Bundesverband deutscher Banken e. V.) since July 2025. There, he focuses on issues related to the amendment of the EU Payment Services Directives as well as European and national payment methods. His responsibilities include advocating for the association’s interests in legislative processes at the national and European levels, as well as supporting member banks with implementation.
Albrecht Wallraf
Since 2017, Albrecht Wallraf has been responsible for regulatory and business policy issues related to payment transactions at the Federal Association of German Banks (Bundesverband deutscher Banken e.V.). These include the digital euro, the revision of European payment services legislation, and the further development of SEPA.
