An Introduction to the DRV (German Master Agreement)

The Webinar - to be held in English – intends to provide an overview of the German Master Agreement for Financial Derivatives 2018 (“Deutscher Rahmenvertrag für Finanztermingeschäfte – DRV”) and the German legal framework for netting agreements specifically for international market participants.

This interactive event will introduce the participants to the structure of the master agreement, its central provisions, and other key components of the DRV documentation (addenda and supplements). A further focus will be on the German insolvency law rules governing netting agreements.

The workshop will also provide the opportunity to discuss practical questions from the perspective of in-house counsel and regulatory and compliance specialists/officers of institutions or other financial market participants involved in negotiation netting master agreements.
