Fragen und Antworten zur 9. MaRisk-Novelle

With the 9th amendment to the Minimum Requirements for Risk Management (MaRisk), the banking supervisory authority intends to conduct a fundamental review of the requirements. In addition to important simplifications for small and very small LSIs, the EBA guidelines in particular are to be implemented in a principle-based and proportionate manner as far as possible. At the same time, the MaRisk is to be shortened and structured more clearly.

In our 90-minute webinar, we will provide a concise overview of the most important changes in the 9th MaRisk amendment, explain their practical implications for institutions and discuss implementation issues.

Participants are expressly invited to contribute their questions, which will be discussed and addressed in dialogue with the speakers.

The speakers will be Dr Stefan Götz, Association of German Banks, and Dr Torsten Kelp, Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).

The webinar is aimed in particular at specialists and managers from risk management, compliance and regulatory affairs, and anyone involved in the practical implementation of MaRisk requirements.
