Sustainable Finance Booster 2024

"Nothing is as constant as change." This line is a good way to describe the regulation and discussion surrounding sustainable finance. Much has been set in motion, some initiated and others postponed. Our Sustainable Finance Booster 2024 brings you up to date.

The German Banking Association's Sustainable Finance team presents the current priorities in the three areas of ESG risks, ESG reporting and the EU taxonomy. These presentations will be supplemented by practical implementation perspectives.

The event will cover the following topics, among others:

  • The role of banks in ESG
  • EU taxonomy and its significance for bank management
  • Operationalisation of the ESG strategy in banks
  • ESG reporting: regulatory requirements and implementation experience
  • ESG risks: Requirements and experiences from regulatory audit practice
  • Implementation of ESG in the lending business
  • Implementation of the SFDR

The exact content of the exchange of experience will be planned promptly and will be available approx. 6 weeks before the start of the event.

The event is aimed at employees from sustainability departments, regulatory affairs, risk management, reporting, sales and the legal and capital markets departments of banks and financial institutions.
